The title says it all huh...
Well here is the casestudy, i got a friend SB who recently got together with a guy MD. SB is a staunch christian and no, she does not bug pple to join her church or like keep saying her religion is the best, what i meant by staunch is that she firmly believes in the teachings of her religion and her faith in it is 100%, i tink she is at the point whereby u slap on one side of her face, she will give you the other to slap on. So the problem is that, MD is not a christian, a free thinker instead...and SB would not wish to marry a non christian and hence for now it looks like MD has to become a christian so that they can get married happily..if not it would be really tough on both of them to work out the issues on religion...and besides she has the vision of serving God with her partner in the future...which mean that they can work towards God's glory.
So guys, do you all really think that religion is that impt to influence how ur relationship turn out to be or even who you choose to love ?
For me, I don't really care where you pray, I am more concerned with what you pray or the values that you believe in and I don't think I would change to another religion so that a relationship would work out and I would mind if my partner requires me to change my religion in order for the relationship to work out. (No one can make me change my passion, faith, belief in and for MANCHESTER UNITED, but I must say: FLETCHER SUCKS)
For you SB:God created love and religion is something we created for God. So if you believe in God, maybe love can change everything..even you.
So gimme ur views and for those who just read my post and dun comment..pls do me a favour let me know what you feel about this.
P.S: SB is not insisting that MD change religion now...she is just worried that things might nt workout in the long term cos of the religion issue.
(I better be safe)
Disclaimer:I have nothing against any religion and I always believes in: "world peace !" enhanced with a *miss world pageant smile*...
